About
Black Moth Super Rainbow, the experimental outfit led by producer Tobacco, haven’t released a new full-length since 2012’s Cobra Juicy. That changes this week, however, as they’ve come out of the woodwork to drop a surprise album titled SeeFu Lilac.
“No glam shots, no press releases, no problem: The new bmsr mini-album only on Rad Cult, label to the stars,” Black Moth Super Rainbow wrote on Facebook last night. The LP spans nine tracks, including titles such as “The Chew”, “Since You’ve Seen Her”, “DVD Sweetener”, and “Warm Water Leviathan”.
The album’s Bandcamp page says that the songs are “neon flavored outtakes from a 6th album that doesn’t yet exist,” which suggests another full-length may be on the way sometime next year.
